as already mentioned the cummins would get alot better mileage.  In my pickup (yes I know its not the same) I can get as high as 20 mpg with a car trailer on the highway. Its a auto trans and 2 wheel drive. My old cummins truck got around 16 pulling a 30 ft. goose neck with two cars on it down the high way. It was a 2 wheel drive also but had the 5 spd.  Man I miss that truck.   The drive train actually ended up in Hitlers mercedes when it was restored and sold at Cruise Auction park.

Talk about parts, my 4106 is a nightmare to get stuff for (unless you ask Clifford).

What parts are hard to get? Vintage GM buses are the easiest to get parts for of all manufactures. Yes, even over MCI who is still making buses! What am I missing?
