Soooooooooo much information....and thank you for all of it.  Still, my head hurts.  All this commentary on having one this big or THIS BIG or even THIS BIG are starting to give me a complex....'specially when I whiz piddle.

How big for sustained load, start ups. vari spd genneys, etc etc.  You can make a slight mistake and cost yourself a bundle in unnecessary expense or in terms of frustration dealing with system inadequacies, and on and on even to the top of the mtn campground or high desert.  Stop it!

Dick Wright's name has been mentioned a few times in this thread but I don't think it is with sufficient emphasis.  He is the resident EXPERT and should be considered for the SOURCE of equipment purchase on moral grounds alone.  He has held many a hand and educated many of us on specific issues to our decided advantage whether we bought from him or not.  Talk to Dick first and last for two very important reasons:  He is expert and repeat that.

Dick can design whatever system you want or need.  3 cylinder, 4 cylinder, vari speed or fixed, electronic control or not, direct injection or prechamber, and the list goes on.  As well he can give expert advice on ALL the rest of your electric "stuff" and how you want to connect it all together and what parts to use that he doesn't sell but knows of the best source.  I like this guy....he has been good to us.  I always tell people like him "you don't have to be cheaper....just sorta close."  The follow on support is a serious consideration.
