I am not the greatest when it comes to using a washing machine. It's a pink job.... I usually stick to the blue jobs lol.

I seem to have trouble getting the dryer only cycle to work.  I have read the manual... which is foreign to me  again lol and it does not mention drying only, is there a way to have the dryer part work without going through the wash cycle?  Gerry

I do not know the controls on the Splendide but once had a different brand of combo.  Yes, you could turn the dryer on by itself.  It's been a while, but I think that just turning the dryer timer on without starting the washer did it.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

At least on mine it has a dial for washing and a dial for drying.  Just turn the washing dial to dry and off you go.  Good Luck, TomC

On our Splendide, we turn the cycle knob all the way to dry, put the clothes in and hit the start knob. Drying works great as it is the vented model. Good luck. Call Splendide and they will help you with any questions. They were very helpful to us. If no one answers. leave a message and they will call you back.

Thanks I will try that. The manual says they will charge for Technical advice.        Gerry
