As we are currently shopping for a bus, we have been out across the country talking with folks trying to sell in this market these past couple months - and it is sad to see so many beloved buses that have lost so much monetary value.  And there are so many buses on the market.

We are having to be extra conscious consumers. There is such a wide range of quality and condition of buses on the market, and it takes a lot of effort to seek out the ones that are suitable for our novice bus selves who don't have the facilities to take on a bus with major projects left to complete (we're full time travelers, and our bus will be our full time home on wheels).  We also have to be sure we are setting aside enough funds to properly maintain and care for whatever bus becomes our next nomadic home.

When we find the *right* bus for us, we know that the situation will feel like a win for everyone involved.  As we hate the negotiating process and don't want to be making low ball offers, we are only expending the costs, efforts and logistics to go visit buses where the owners seems to be pricing with the current market in mind already.  As we do have to keep in mind that if owning a bus doesn't pan out for us after a year or two, we'll need some reasonable hope of being able to sell without taking a huge loss.

Anyway..  just wanted to lend some hope that there are indeed bus buyers out there currently seeking.

If you want, I'd be willing to drive your bus around this year to some of the events I attend...races, country concert, jimmy buffet concerts, etc.  I'd have a for sale sign in it at all times, and I'm a hellofa salesman...I could get her sold for you.  Heading to MIS this weekend...I'd love to show it off and sell it for you :) No charge to you of course.

sincerely,

Greg

Like Technomadia said. There are those of us that are looking. I thought that I would never sell my motorcycle but Finley I did. The one who bought it said he had been trying to get the money for a long time. So keep up the hope there might be someone that is working real hard to get the money. They just haven't got a hold of you yet. Good luck

Thanks for all the replies...I know it will sell I am probably being a little impatience. I have owned 10 buses in the past and have actually made money on most or broke even. My last MCI C-3 I drove 41/2 years and made a few thousand in the bad economy 2 years ago. When these F3500 started dropping in price early last year I missed 3 deals in the 70s and 80s that people were grabbing..Somebody is going to steal this one without going to jail.. I sold my house last fall and been full timing in this one since Nov. There are some tremendous foreclosure house deals here in GA and I am going to take the offer that will pay cash for the house and not consider any loss because of what I will be gaining in the house. It has took 6-12 months to sell each bus, so the buyer will show up in the right timing. There is a higher power that makes things happen.........
