What Arthur says is true. I also taught my two sons that if they couldn't wash their cars in cold weather to at least wash the wheels (an tires if whitewalls) and the car would look clean even when it wasn't. Clean wheels make a big difference, dark or dirty wheels never look good.

Another great thing about white wheels is you can use white epoxy appliance paint in spray cans, this stuff is tough and makes a beautiful gloss finish.
