 Hello :    Spent the morning at the McDonald observatory . Desolate views  . Some mountains ravaged by fire 2 monthes ago  . The afternoon At the Fort Davis national parksite.  They are trying to rebuild the fort..  A long way to go but nicely done what is finished.   Any way Fort Davis is a little sad. drought this year, 3 days below zero last winter then the fire  .  Pretty sad.
     Hope to head to New Mexico tomorrow and better travels

Mike, exit 49 at Fabien Tx off I 10 the Cattlemans Steakhouse is a must stop if you have time 5 mile north of I 10 great food it's been there since the 30's then you can take the back roads to El Paso and come out in New Mexico if you choose
