We live just outside of Joplin Mo.  We did not get any tornado damage but it has impacted people in our personal and church family and many many others.  Having family on ground doing some of the search/resue with a dog I know they are not disclosing all of the information on the news.  As of a few minutes ago the warning sirens are not working and we have a good chance for a big storm tonight.  I ask'd ask you spend a few moments in prayer and hug your loved ones.

I'm posting here using someone elses internet cuz our service provider is torn up.

Bill,

Thanks for the reminder. We are praying for you all, and I am actively looking into doing more then just praying.

God bless,

John

Glad you and your family are safe.
I live about 45 miles south west at Grand Lake, we had some minor damage locally from the same storm that hit Joplin.  The wife and I are also looking into ways we can help out in Joplin.  We have ample parking and several hookups if there are any bus folks in need of a place to stay while helping out or are displaced by the storm.

 Bill,
Glad to hear you are OK,  I have friends and my wife has relatives in the area as far as we know they are OK....Prayers to those who suffered lost loved ones. Amazing how fast peoples lives can change. We take a lot for granted I do think.

My last spring show was last weekend in Texas, will try and get up your way in a week or so if you still have the parts...

Thanks

I havnt seen Joplin since I was 11 years old. Moving down here, the bypass takes you completely around it, its "over there" somewhere.

Sunday we were coming back from Minnesota and our Sons wedding, I told the wife I wanted to drive through Joplin. Somehow I missed an exit, and ended up back on 71 south and there I went across I-44, just kept going. That was about 4:30PM. SomehowI always imagined it as a beautiful city. Maybe its good I didnt see it.

Four guys from our Fire Dept are up there. I cant go because of Family constraints, but wish I could. But I can pull some back here so it all works. Were pulling things together for donations, they are going to need everything. They say 75% of the city is gone. Destroyed. They are going to need all we can give for a while.

And its not over. There are more storms firing up through Ok, headed northeast. Weve had a great deal of rain, then more, and maybe more tonight. Too much. But nothing compares to the images were seeing. God Bless everyone, we need a lot of prayers.
