I'm still working out ideas for a BCM Rally in the Chattanooga, TN/north Georgia area October 14-17.  When it comes to music/entertainment I know what I like, but I would like everyone's input on what they would like to hear.  Choose as many as apply to your preferences.  (Sorry, no rap  ;) I just can't abide with the stuff.)

As a side note, Sunday morning of the rally, I am inviting some of the local area Gospel quartets/groups to perform in sort of a Gospel jam session. (most of them are bus nuts to one degree or another too)  Besides the local area groups, I know several bus nuts from other areas are members of Gospel groups and are welcome to participate.

Mike,
We found that no matter what type entainment we booked, we were doing good if 50-60% of those attending showed up.  Entertainment is one of the most difficult things to plan for a rally. You have to book it quite a bit prior to the rally dates and it is a fixed expense. It can be difficult to budget a per coach entertainmet cost without knowing how many coaches will attend. Works better if you can get corporate sponsorship to cover entertainment cost.  Jack

When you start looking to book a band check out the guy I run sound for.
His name is Eddie Smith and he has a great following in west Tn, north MS, and east AR.
His website is www.eddielsmith.com

He can do anything from an acoustic solo act to a full band depending on your budget.
We bring our own sound equipment.

We have a bus and Chattanooga is not too far for us to travel.

Brat, With enough beer I am sure we can find you a "Chippendale" but we are going to take the belly dancing to the next level. Your call ;D

Hey Mike,
Do you already have a location picked out for the rally? Have you considered Vogel State Park in N GA? That is one beautiful setting. Hope you are able to set up a fall rally up your general area. Our Avion Club used to hold rallies at River Vista RV Park at Dillard, GA. too. That's a fine rally park and a little more "citified" than Vogel. Oct is super in TN and N GA.
