Baggage Door Air Release

How do I remove this valve?
I pulled the panel, unscrewed the big nut on the front, but the knob isn't going to let go.
I've removed the air from my baggage doors so I don't need this valve anymore.  Any suggestions for future use of this valve?  Should I leave it there and use it for something else?  It's a much nicer looking valve than the one above it for the entry door.  Maybe I could just move the lines?
