Selected a home depot porch paint, as their house brand (Behr) is highly rated by CR.  A little scrubbing and some paint, and looks almost presentable.

Looking good!!!  I am assuming that compartment is for a radiator.

What goes in there?

I got beat to the question again!

I replaced my Perkins diesel powered 12.5 kw Kohler genset with a 8kw powertech.  The large Kohler had a remote radiator and this was the compartment that held it.  The powertech has a radiator as part of the quiet box.  I may use this compartment for a propane tank, if I decide to go away from an all electric coach.

Very good Mr bus driver.

Our 85 Hickox was originally all electric but unlike current all electric prevo the fridge was rv or propain in dimensions (smaller) but just a 2 way a/c d/c. Both it and the gaganow ( I know I'm massacred that) cook top were broke so I almost immediately after purchase put a new propane fridge and cooktop.

I put the tank 1 20 lb tank in a lower cabinate right in the kitchen. Nope not crazy read on.

It fit in the rearward half of it. I built another set of doors up tight against the tank that are air tight and close off and cut a rectangular hole in the side of the bus at the same point and covered it with a grate. I did that because I did not want that large of a door on the outside to put and take the tanks the vent is 8 by 10. Where the tank sits in there it is located just above the duct that runs front to back for the OTR A/C. On the outside it is on the drivers side a few feet back from the hole I cut for the lower louvers for the fridge.

A 20 lasts quite a while for the cooktop and we cook plenty. The fridge also uses very little.

I think we  get a week to 10 days from that 20 I really dont watch it that close but I know if I was changing it too frequently Id defiantly be noticing that and It seems to go a long long time.

Not permanently mounting it allows me to refill anywhere without having to take the buss and with a spare we keep downstairs we are never out. Installation was way easier than doing it in a bay and we have very limited bay space with long range tanks OTR A/C and 3 cruisairs hoggin up the basement already.
