Matt, rear drivers covers are easy to find but if you are looking for flush mounted for the front and boogie forget it unless you remove the wheels and grind the lip on the flange something I just would never do but other Eagle owner do that is why it doesn't have the Alcoa covers all the way around, fwiw Eagles with the 24.5 wheels it not a problem

good luck

I can't speak to 22.5, but I have the Alcoa brand covers on my 24.5 aluminum wheels.  You do not want those!.  The covers are held on with special nut covers with plastic inserts that "clamp" around the lug nuts.  It is almost impossible to keep them tight on the nuts.  At the end of each day of travel, I have to take a rubber hammer and seat them firmly on the nut.

The other comment, is that you should choose covers for the front and bogie locations with inspection holes in them.  Mine were full covers and I used a large hole saw to make an inspection window.  I use this window to check the hub oil level and to give me access  so that I can measure hub temperature with the infrared temp gun.

Clifford, I can sure relate >:(.

I have two rubber impact type hammers that I use to drive the Alcoa nuts back on.  On the rear, I use one hammer as a "drift" and tap it with the other hammer.  Kind of a pain each evening, but I have not lost a nut in the past couple of years since I started that procedure.

I know that most will never go through a DOT inspection, but if you do, the full hub covers in the back will prevent you from getting a DOT approval.  The covers should be made that they can easily be removable with a simple set screw-rather then held on pinched between the wheel lug nuts and the wheel (requiring you to remove the lug nuts to get the hat off).  It is good sense also to not have a complete cover so you can visually inspect the wheels periodically (you do do that don't you?) for cracks.  Good Luck, TomC

Be sure to look for the thread on type application. I've been using for years now, with no problem. Avoid the push on.

I had thought about having my Bus hauled home rather than driving, until I was told the fees were "by the hour". When I was switching wheels I realised the Bus had Chrome rear axle hub covers. If I had been dumb enough to pay for a tow, I would have been paying labor to R&R the rear wheels so they could pull the axles. The covers went in the dumpster. Plus I have always hated phony Chrome crap. Thats not to say I hate Chrome, but that I hate Chrome covers on things. Like those Chrome wraps they put on starters on hot rods. Its like Ricer junk.

OMG, could you imagine a riced out Bus?

TomC, nailed it.  If the DOT wants to look at the seals...and they are covered they WILL require you to take the covers off.
Don't think that down the road DOT won't be looking at RV's.
Ray LaHood, (Ray the Hood) that heads the DOT is trying to get his business in every aspect of transportation.  We had the discussion awhile back about cell phones going to be banned if he has his way.  (CB radios too!)

Umm, they can't, really.  The feds can not regulate non-commercial vehicles.  Thus sayeth the constitution of the United States.  The opposite is also true: states can not interfere with federally approved vehicles in interstate commerce.

That said, nothing at all stops any state from imposing whatever regulations they like upon non-commercial vehicles.  And the feds do have some influence, in the sense that they can withhold highway funds from any state that does not comply with whatever they are trying to push.  This is how we ended up with a national 55mph speed limit once upon a time.
