we too have had kuhmo tires, and we also had on e sprout. Kuhmo would not replace it, they said it was low on air, (Steering tires) my steering tires are never low, I would never buy those again,  Didnt have 5,000 mi on them.

I had a Bridgestone go bad( I ran over something)  in McCall ID it was never a question the tire was less than 18 months old the Bridgestone dealer replaced it free of charge to me it was covered under the road hazard by Bridgestone so they are not all bad

Les Schwab in the Northwest has given me excellent service on both Toyos and something else that I can't recall right now. They sent out a truck and fixed me on the spot twice when I've had problems with them going flat. Their slogan is that they won't sell anything they can't warrantee. Unfortunately, in the four stations of theirs that I've had the pleasure of doing business, I haven't cared for any of the employs. They were all inexperienced and careless of my property (rims). Only the managers seemed knowledgable.

Agree with Bob, recaps on the drives. Used to know a guy at a Bandag retread plant, said the same thing. If the casing is going to go bad, they usually do so early in life. For steers, I would have more confidence in a good takeoff than any brand new tire by any manufacture.
