That's one way to get warm! I was shivering just watching it! ;)

Have fun and go chop some more wood! ;D

A very good way to document your progress, something to show your grandkids.

Keep those videos coming.  It is good to see what goes into a total conversion.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys ;D  I am going to have to get out their and get busy if I am going to post anymore videos.  My son is visiting a friend in Alabama, they are planning on going to Arkansas this weekend to pick up a senicruser he just bought. He took the video camera with him, so I am assuming he is making a video of his adventure, I will post it if he does.

Did he buy the one from Louis Herndon (855 I think)? Definitely keep us posted on his adventure!

Rampeyboy:  My son did buy the bus from Louis.  Him and his friend worked all last weekend getting it road worthy (if you can call it that).  I guess some of the break valves were froze up and they had to fix a few air leaks.  I just got a call from him and he is sitting on the side of the road somewhere in Alabama, seams they burnt up the clutch.  They had to drive about 350 miles and still have about 100 miles to go, but his AAA is good for a 100 mile tow.  My theory is the linkage had rusted up and wasn't letting the clutch fully engage.  I am not sure how long the bus sat for, but it was a few years I am sure, from what I have heard the bus is in rough shape.  I will keep you posted.

I just got word from my son and they made it home to Alabama OK.  They had to pay an extra 100.00 for the tow because of the extra time involved, but with AAA that was their only cost.  I guess my investment in upping my AAA coverage was a good one.  Thank my wife for that one. ;D  I guess the bus will not be coming up to Vermont this trip, he is going to wait out the coming storm and head home after that.  I hope the trip home will be uneventful.  He thinks he might be able to adjust the clutch, but I think he got it so hot that everything will have to be replaced.

Thanks for the update. I wish him well with his adventure. I talked with Louis about that bus before I got 227. I've not seen the inside, but the outside isn't too bad considering the age of the bus. Understand it has an upgraded engine/transmission to boot! When he gets settled in, ask him to post trip stories and pictures!

The engine has been upgraded to a 8v92 with turbo, the transmission is a 13 speed.  The interior is trash, my son said a drunken bum lived it it, don't know if that is fact or his interpretation of it's condition.  If he has any video I will get it up, probably in a new post, hope to see him home early next week.
