Service and Parts manuals

Hello All.
As of November last year I am the owner of an 1980 MCI-9. I have found the pdf files for the chapters of the service manuals. I have found a limited Parts manual but would like to know if anyone knows of a reasonable source for Service and Parts not only for my MCI-9 but also for my DD8V71N lurking in the aft. I have found the Cd's at Coachinfo.com but still don't like the $400.00 price tag for two Cd's. Any Suggestions?

Your local Detroit dealer should have the manual for around 120$ for the 8V71. contains 2 books -price was $105 when I purchased it about 5 yrs ago

For the 8v71 you should be able to download it at www.scribd.com they are free for the 92 series there you may pay a little for the 71 series,the 2 volume from DD will cost you the best price I have seen for the original ( not copies) are around 300 bucks

I have a parts manual for a 102 (I am not sure whether it is A or C), which I would be willing to part with for $100. But I don't think that is what you are looking for....

I just ordered the parts manual for my 9 from MCI about a month ago and paid around $120.00 and its about 5"thick and includes the dd and allison parts. Jason
