Have a Model 10 and want to put M11 in it has anyone
done this and where do I start what trans do I use ect.

TomC

Whatever trans you are using, you can use it over-like the Allison HT740?  Just need to change the throttle position senser out to an electronic one.  But-if you're changing from a 8V-71 or 6V-92, you should either change the rear end ratio out, or the easiest would be to use an Allison World transmission with the two overdrives of .74 and .64.  Running a M11 at 1800-2000rpm is alright, but for best fuel mileage, it should be cruised at 1500-1700rpm.  Good Luck, TomC

Have a 748b, b is for retarder with a 6v92 can I use this trans?

luvrbus

Yep some Eagles came from the factory with a 748 and M 11 with no drop box just a flipped truck rear end with 3:10 gears but not with the retarder transmission probably will work since the 748 is not that long to start with

All the M11's I've seen were 12 volt.
