There are currently about 32 people who have expressed interest in my free dinner on Wednesday the 29th at 5:30 pm at Bussin' 11.  I will be cutting off reservations at the end of day on Sunday the 19th.  I am leaving in a week and I want to have a grocery list written before I leave.  I plan to get most everything at Sam's Club along the way somewhere.

You will need to RSVP with a PM to me if you are interested in the free dinner.  The menu is in a previous post about the dinner.  I will be replying to everyone who sent a PM in the next few days.

Jack has generously offered me a parking space basically right behind the main building at Bussin' 11.  He has also offered use of a building in case of bad weather.

I am cutting off registration for my BCM forum dinner at Bussin' 11 in Arcadia.  It looks like we have about 35 people signed up.

Brian,
Just a last minute thought. You ought to get with Jack and make sure that you have all of his "volunteers" on your list. Some of them may not frequent these boards and may not know of it.

But it would be a great gesture to make sure all of Jack's volunteers get included in this as they all do a lot to help Jack & Paula pull all of this off.

There is the matter of cost and amount of equipment.  I figured I could easily serve 40 people with the equipment I have.  I also figured I could feed 40 people for around $100.

I'm also trying to get a fairly definitive list of people who are attending.  If I just opened it to all volunteers I wouldn't have any idea how many people might show up.  Not every volunteer would come.

I'm not saying it couldn't be done.  I could get more equipment and ask for donations to cover the costs.

Brian,
I don't mind sharing the cost with you, and I have the burners and pots I told you about to offer.
I just thought it'd be nice to include the volunteers that work hard helping Jack & Paula from beginning to end. They do whatever is asked and spend quite a bit of time doing it for free. (I remember last yr some of them started helping set up to serve dinner and after all was done their was no dinner left for them after they spent several hrs preparing for and serving dinner to everyone else)
And I believe if you'll ask Jack the # of volunteers is not as long as you might think. (I would also venture that most of them are already on your list. Just thought it's be a nice gesture to check with Jack & Paula to see that none of the volunteers were left out because they don't participate on the boards)
