Thanks everyone.
Today, Nancy allowed me to shop for & pick out my own present.   

I chose a reliabuilt 8V92T 
It is in a Peterbuilt & sounds super sweet. Fires off on the first revolution. 

A really good day!

Now to get sides on the bus port & sneak one over to begin the real fun!

For those who didn't know, Eric put me on to this deal. When I called him last night to tell him I'd bought it, it went something like this:
me- "I bought it"
E- "So, Nancy was OK with you getting it?"
me- "About that, I might need a place to sleep tonight"
E- "Listen, I see no reason for us both to be in $#!% over this"

That is why I like Eric, I always know where I stand. 

Nancy was fine with it, I guess begging & whining for months works.   

Eric, about the broker's fee, I'll get right on that, the check is in the mail, the dog ate it, I'll get it to you next Friday, . . . .

Isn't it amazing that both of our BusNut friends had a birthday on the same date? ?They both have something in common though...they both own buses and haven't done much as far as converting them is concerned. All I hear is talk, talk, talk and crying about how much the wife disaproves of spending money on the hobby. Man up you turkeys! And get the job done so you can have as much fun as the rest of the bussing community.

OK, So much for the Ball breaking. Happy birthday to two of my dear friends...but something tells me I'm going to pay for the above comments.

Bob  I will be here to help   I try to get each of them to go bus riding with me.  I even located several real running buses but they will not even look. 

Then they could help me kill mosquitoes can't do that with a airstream trailer.
