roof top a/c termostat help

 found this on e bay Item number: 260672845851 and have been needing a termostat for my  dometic penquin heat pump model
i have the model # handy if needed i contacted dometic and asked and was told to use airbox i am not using airbox am using chill grilles

 ok maybe i did not post it right  what i want to known is if the termostat on e bay [ in above post ] will work with my roof air i
have two # 1 penquin heat pump  model #630025.401 # 2 penquin heat pump model # 630025.321 the e bay listing is for a
dometic analog control kit with wall termostat part # 3107541.009 i am clueless on this so help thanks john

This is not an easy question to answer, because it depends on what inside units you bought for them.  IIRC, these were airbox-equipped when you got them:

Generally speaking, converting from airbox to ducted is not as simple as removing the airbox and hooking up an external thermostat.

I had the impression from that thread that you were working with Nick on this.  That's probably the direction you should continue, as professional input is probably required here.

I know a lot about air conditioners, but Dometic does not make it easy to change these things over if they were not built for it in the first place.  I can almost guarantee that simply buying this kit will not be all that is required to make your units work.

That said, it would help if you could post the model number(s) of the inside kits you bought to go with the units.  The numbers you posted are for the outside part.
