We arrived at the Durant KOA yesterday morning! Man, you ought to see this place! Top notch on any scale! Concrete level pads, which will have our DD markings when we leave on Sunday. ;D

So far we have 20 coaches here with more arriving today! We enjoyed our Cook Out last night, the Dining Room is huge along with a full commercial style kitchen! (Mike and Sonnie, At least I called it a Cook Out, not a BBQ! Are you happy now!) ;)

This KOA is the nicest we've ever seen! A great place for a gathering of bus nuts! I've already told everybody we will be back for next year!

Pictures will be available soon, so stay tuned!

It as you describe Paul, "top drawer" in every sense of the word.  But they lock up the bathrooms at night, and you cannot have access until 6:30am and that sucks, especially if you are an Eagle Affectionado (sp) that is full of it (so I am told anyway).  How do you spell relief?

Nice meet, a lot of interesting folks here and some great starter coaches and finished coaches to boot.  Now all I need is a postcard and a bathroom and I would be all set.

We had a surprise gift from Choctow KOA given to the group last night. They gave us free tickets to see Don Williams. They picked us up in one of their coaches, not the small shuttle type, and took us over to see the show. We had a great time hearing some good ole country by one of County's great legends.

The Durant Daily Democrat also stopped by to get information on an article they will put together for their paper. It will be available online in a few days.

We have currently 24 coaches, and a few SOB's. Great turnout with some great folk!

As usual the food is great and we always eat way too much! Rod and his wife Tija, cooked up some Gumbo for last nights potluck, mmm good! Stew tonight supplied by Jeff and Darlene.

Christy and Larry Hicks arrived around 5 pm yesterday in their "Prayvo". We let them park on the back row! ;D

I'll post more pictures and details at a later time here. http://texasbusroundup.ning.com/

For now, here are a few pics to get you started!
