haha!! Actually I have an idea  :o look out!!

Im thinking about making the vw van look just like my bus (okay....... I dont mean early american recycle! I mean AFTER I get the bus painted and everything). Then using it as a toad, and hopefully converting to electric so that it runs my house batteries and can be charged from my alternator on the bus or a camp site plug in or an onboard generator (so I dont have to have the genny on my bus) and the genny would serve as emergency back up for if I got stuck somewhere in the VW without a way to charge it or if Im boondockin........

shoot no! I aint made out of $$$ lol, only in my dreams  ::)  But I did get one that is supposed to have a solid frame and floor without major rust issues and best of all it was cheap. I can piddle with it and it wont hurt anything  ;)

Today at the Barrett-Jackson car auction in Vegas they sold a 21 window van for $100,000. Yup, not a typo, a hundred grand! I missed seeing it so i have no idea what it looked like. Good thing that you got yours when you did. All of the VW folks are gonna double or triple their prices now. ;D ;D ;D
