Bob, the MAN is a good engine we have a pair of V10's in the boat they do better on fuel that most 18L engines but parts are pricey when you do need them but I like the engine.
Still trying to figure out why a person would go from a bus to a boat lol about the same a bus is a boat out of water when it comes to expenses not much difference but parking cost a lot more in a boat I found out

MAN is the company that Rudolph Diesel worked with to invent his engine.  They are excellent engines.  International trucks has based their Maxforce 11 and 13 liter engines off the MAN engine-so maybe (I'm not sure) you could order parts through International (although their new engines are way different then the old engines).  Good Luck, TomC
