I have a friend that is broken down on 70, blew a radiator hose. He ask me to ask if anyone knows the size of the hose

that comes from the water pump about 4-5 '' long.  He has a 8v-71 in a MCI.  I will take him one when I get the info!

Steve 5B......   He just called and said it's the one on the left side of the water pump.

Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

I just checked the hose on our 8V71 in our MC-8. Standing behind the bus looking at the engine, the left hose is 2 3/4" per label on the hose. The right hose is 2 3/8" per measuring pump nozzle with a caliper.  Jack
