Brake valve

I jus t got done replacing my brake valve on my 5a with a reuilt. When I engage the Park brake,air escapes from the exhaust screen on the vale. with the Park brake off,there is no air leaking. Is this correct or is there a problem? thanks, mke

Is this a steady stream of air, or a momentary rush?

Which valve is this coming out of?

Momentary and stops is generally proper. Steady stream is not.
