Could some one pease recommend what type of oil I should be using in my front hubs on my MCI 5a?  thanks, mike

I started using Lucas Hub Oil on my 5A. I like that it is somewhat tacky so it does not drain off of the bearings after sitting for awhile. I know that several people have said that they have taken theirs apart and have found rust starting where the plain oil had drained off.
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

the manual on my 8 says to use sae 40 engine oil. (i use the cheapest brand 40 wt i can find for all the 'other' stuff besides the engine.  the 'right' oil for the engine is getting too hard to find so i don't waste it on the other stuff.)
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.
