John, I had the plastic implants 3 years ago and not only can I now see at night I can drive with no glasses, something I could never do before.  Walk in the park and We will see You soon, no pun intended LOL,  Regards John L

Best of luck John.  Had cateracts removed six years ago and lens implants installed.  Went from trifocals to no glasses in a couple of weeks.  IMHO they can do amazing things now days.

That is a nice offer, Richard. That's what I love about this board and it's people: People helping people. 
It looks as tho I will be a candidate for that surgery in the future as I have Uveitis and have to use steroids to keep from going blind, but they say the steriods will cause cataracts. And I for one always like to check things out before jumping in head first. And someone with good knowledge is always someone good to know. We need to keep the members of our fold healthy so we can poke fun at them!!!    lol
Thanx again for the nice offer and hopefully people who are facing this, especially John, can benefit from your knowledge.
