Thanks a bunch Y'all!

Fortunately my first day into this world fell on a Saturday, sometimes it feels like Friday the 13th though! I'm sure my Mother felt like that also at times!

Going out for a big Texas steak tonight, the rest of the day inside our cool coach trying to complete my semester classes on the 20th. Then a short break until I have to hit the books again.

At least I'm one year closer to getting that big fat SS check next year!

I had to do a summer semester to get my HS diploma and I had 3 more units than was needed for the diploma before the summer session.  I came unglued my senior year.  I went to formal school, including a full year of tech training in the Air Force, off and on till I was 43 and had achieved 4 degrees. I found I absolutely "loved" learning stuff and having access t smart and educated professors.  Only illness stopped me.  I envy you your ability to hang in there.  Good luck with this semester.  What is you field of study?

Hey John,

I'm taking Web Design Technology, now being called Computer Science - Database & Web Programming. They changed the major last week, so I'm up in the air for a name now! All I know it's not easy getting rid of all the cobwebs I've collected over the years!

I'm going to do the best I can to plan for that short trip, need to get some tires first.  I guess that will be my B-Day present from me to me huh!
