I am looking to remoldel the dash in our mc9. Are all the gauges 24v as well or do any style automotive work?

Also, anyone with pictures of their custom dash with the door handle still there?

You may want to look at these ---> Monaco Diesel M/H gauge sets

Most bus gauges are 12volt - automotive gauges work with the right senders but the tachometers ranges for gasoline engines are usually way to high 0-6,000 rpms
If you ain't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

Thanks! I'll take a look at these.   Do the 12v just come off the vainer then?

Just swapped out my dash bezel.
All guages and lights are 24vdc

All wire colours are black .
To the guages and lights and grounds.
If you remove wires please tag dilligently.
Cannot guess who did so, and still managed to mix and match.
Also has white wire to ground guage itself.
Hope you have more fun than I did.

Chaos for now

Datcon makes a 24 volt conversion kit for many of their 12 volt gauges.  It is simply a resistor that goes between two of the terminals on the gauge.

I did mine last winter and the old gauges were all 24volt. I got my new dash from Custom Instrument Panels they advertise in the magazine. I took my handle out though the new dash did cover the hole for the door handle. You can look at mine on my photobocket site at the bottom of the post. Like Taibob said mark your wire's good, and good luck. Jason

In your new dash (which looks great) are the new gauges 12or24v?  I'm guessing that senders are all 24v but I don't know much about senders.
