First of all, I need to comment on the search feature.  I did a search on battery equalization and it worked great from the menu on the upper left side.  I found a good thread that got me to thinking about this subject:  http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=3346.0

First, it has a couple of posts by Dallas, so he did not get them all ;)

Next, the thread was started by kbunnystarr.  She started off with a bang and I liked following her posts.  I had met her at BusN' USA a few years ago and seemed like a neat gal.  Her last post was about 2.5 years ago, and she got a less than cordial comment from a member and that was about the last we heard from her.

The other gal that seems to have disappeared is Nellie Wilson.  Got active here for a while then dropped out earlier this year.  She was very active on BNO, but I don't think she has posted there in a while.

I really admire ladies who take on this hobby.  I always hope they don't get discouraged and quit or worse yet, we somehow run them off.

Fortunately we still have Anja (divinerightstrip) and she is even a contributor to BCM magazine (and a good one too).

Are you out there kbunnystarr or Vivian?

Who else am I forgetting?

I don't think Nellie always has Internet access.  I seem to remember here talking at one point about not having access for some time.

Jim, last i heard kbunnystarr was parked in Lake Havasu and opened up a tattoo shop. I think she has a sister there that has cancer? and she was taking care of her.

Jim -

I got a PM from Nellie (Viv) last week.

She's workkamping in Homestead, FL, and supplementing w/ music gigs around the area.

Location has limited internet access, she says.

And her best comment:  "At least I'm out of any serious trouble!"

Go Nellie!

divinerightstrip is making great contributions to this hobby with her magazine articles chronicling her progress on 'Urge'. I like her perspective.

Maybe they are so busy they don't have time for us  :'(

Best wishes to all  ;D

Thank you for thinking of us!! It is tough learning EVERYTHING that men kinda seem to take for granted. In my family anyway, my dad taught my brothers to build buildings and about wiring, cars, etc. While I was taught cooking, sewing, etc. Never did I question it or want anything different. In the early 80s I got into corvettes and wanted to learn more then...... but even then, it was only very basic stuff as my dad was also into vettes and had a machine shop and loved doing this kind of stuff himself!!! He was very good at it too!! Now however, unfortunately he passed away in the early 90s. I am now trying to learn everything by myself and kickin myself in the tail for not asking more questions and doing more with him when I had the chance! Knowing my dad, if he were alive now, he would get a 45' bus (cuz he would HAVE to have something bigger then his daughter lol) and he would do all kinds of stuff to soop it up really really cool!!! But this is quite an experience for me and my teenage son who I am trying to teach as I am able to learn. For us it doesnt matter about having things done on a time schedual, it is the learning experience that is the most valuable. We are having a blast!!! Thanks everyone for your unselfish contributions and sharing of knowledge !!!!

When I first started this thread, my thoughts were focused on past female members we have not heard from from a while.

I LOVE that this thread has morphed to listing current female members.

You really forget how many ladies are directly involved with this this board.  How neat!!!!!
