I have taken it to Cummins Mid-South in St. Louis. I had been told they are expensive but are experts. I had called them serveral times in the past and was told to Bring it down any time. Well when I brought it down they asked if I had an appointment and the guy was pretty stressed. I called back yesterday and was told it would be a couple of days, so I am not calling today, I will check tomorrow. The heat here has been very bad and it is wearing people down, so i figured it best to give them some time.

The Onan has a safty shut down that prevents running when the oil pressure or level is low.  The start circuit might by pass thois and let it strt,  Chech the oil level and then chech this sensor,

The problem i am having with it is that when you push the start button and let it go, it will run and then blow the 5 amp fuse that is on the control panel. I had good oil level and the fuel supply was good but i think it might be the voltage regualtor. I think I would waste as much money trying to figure it out as to take it to a factory guy and see what he says.

mike,

I agree and would do the same.  My car dealer gives me a break wen I get stumped.  He will troubleshoot the problem and tell me what parts to replace...tronics...for 1 hr flat rate.  85 bucks.  Maybe Onan will  do you similar.

From what i was told today. It was the  Bridge Rectifier. The Mech will install it today and I will pick it up tomorrow night. I am thinking it will be around 200 bucks. 20 for the part and 2 hours of labor to mess with it. I will post what it was when i know for sure.
I will be very happy to get it back, at this point I have everything working. Lights, A/C, Heater, Fridge, 12 volt suff, water pump, Bathroom. I can now move on to working on things I want to check, like the air filters, outside light (i have one out) and install the hot water heater that I have.
Yeah... I have A/C.. It has been hotter than the gates of you know it will be nice to drive it and not sweat.
