Well, after spending hours upon hours of searching, inquiring, studying, and listening to some good advice from my fellow bus nuts,
I finally landed one of my own.......a 1988 Eagle. It is everything I've been looking for and in excellent condition. I had it checked out by a professional bus shop, who confirmed its excellent condition.  It is a 40 ft with a raised roof and has a professional conversion. I will be posting pictures soon. It was a new experience driving this coach. I use to drive tractor trailers pulling doubles, but that was a few years back. It felt great to finally be behind the wheel of my own conversion bus. WHAT A RIDE the Eagle has!!!

Good for you.

Congrats, and welcome.Had a buddy a couple of days ago buy a boat,I asked him if he knew what the letters in BOAT meant,he said no with a puzzled look.I told him the letters mean BRING ON ANOTHER THOUSAND. These land yacts of ours do get to be on the exspensive side, and thats with doing the work yourself, once again welome,I myself have a GMC,and it means(GET MORE CASH)............Frank

Hmmm, then MCI must mean Mega Cash Infusion or More Cash Immediately.

I always thought GMC meant "Gets More Chicks", oh well, probably why it didn't work...

I love Eagles.  Can't beat their ride.

Good luck and welcome to the zoo crew!

Jimmy I thought GMC was Generic Motor Company ! And yes I own a GMC tow truck !LOL ! As far as an Eagle's ride, there is only one that is better and that is a Setra, but hey they were both designed/built by Kassboro and the Setra takes the suspension a step up from the torsion ar ride up to an air ride independant front suspension (SMOOTH!), but I still love an Eagle ! And I'm trying to figure out how to put an Eagle's chrome front bumper on my Setra (I was informed by a man at Setra N. America HQ in Greensboro, NC that they both have the same radious on the front end !), once I get a chrome bumper, I can add "chicken lights! LOL! BK  ;D
