My already converted Liberty Shorty Prevost, is a bit of a porker.  I filled up both the water tank and fuel tank, and she came in at 32540 lbs, 12240 on the front.  Have one bay totally empty.

PS when I filled my fuel tank the gauge was a touch over empty, and I had 90 out of 200 gallons left, hope the other gauges are a bit more accurate.

I would not be surprised if your fuel sender is bad.  I had the same issue with having lots of fuel on empty when I got my bus.  I pulled the fuel sender and it was completely rusted up.  No wonder it did not work.

My bus had been stored for probably three years with a 1/3 full tank so I'm sure condensation rusted it up.  I haven't seemed to have any water in fuel issues since then.  I do keep the tank full now.

I can give you the numbers for a 4108. Empty stripped less than 19K. Actual weight was 19,720 lbs with the refrigerator, aluminum skin  and 1.5"X 1/8" steel tubing for structural support. I took all the windows out and re-skinned with the 0.080" Al attached to the steel tubing runs both top and bottom of the window area. I figure that additional weight over empty at 800-900 lbs.
Finished weight: 2 adults, 2 teenage girls and dog, full water125 Gals, full fuel 185 gals and the bays pretty full of stuff (6 8D's, bicycles, grill propane bottles, chairs etc) weighed in at 28,400 lbs.
The MCI is as yet unweighted. I'm figuring on 31 to 33,000 lbs. More storage area equals more stuff carried.
