Several years ago my In-Laws won a ceiling fan as a door prize at some function they attended. They had no use for it and gave it to me for the bus.
Flash forward several years....

In the early stages of the bus construction, I installed the hanger bracket for the ceiling fan over what will eventually be the master bed. It's been there
for many years. Kind of a conversation piece.

I'm finally getting some time to do a little work on the interior, and started with the bedroom. I've put up some paneling, and run some electrical conduit. In
preparation for the ceiling panels, I decided to figure out how this ceiling fan was going to work, so I mounted it on the bracket. I decided to shorten the nipple
that supports it to get it as close to the ceiling as possible, and then I cut some new blades so it would fit in the recessed ceiling space.

Here are some photos of it. I think it's kind of cute. It seems to work just fine and only draws 420 mA on high and 180 mA on low.

We just installed a 30" hugger style, brushed nickel. It's so darn quiet I have to look to see if it's running! It's one of those honey do's that I finally accomplished!

    We installed a 120 volt ceiling fan above our bed in our coach. The only problem we had was a hum when running off the inverter. We purchased a 12 volt version at one of our Bussin' rallies (thanks, Glen & Madeleine) to replace the 120 volt version.  Jack

That looks great, I have nixed the idea as I am 6'5', my son is 6'6". So my wife uses one of two table ocillating fans. Pull it out as needed.
Very nice wiring conduit, and a very clean workspace.

The two dolfins must have been tired to swimming to Co...

Hmm...

I didn't think about that. I'll have to try it on the inverter when I get the polyurethane on the blades and get them reinstalled. I doubt I'll have a problem with the Trace SW series inverter,
but will check it out.

    We installed a ceiling fan with 12" blades from Lowes. Have a true sine wave inverter, no hum. We leave it on at night when it is warm and it works great. We feel air right up to our shoulders, but no air blasting you in the face.   BUR

I have a simple Fantastic Vent in the roof of my bus, over the beds.  it works a treat, pushing out hot air or pulling in cool air from outside.  12 volt, obviously, and quiet enough for us.

We've got a Maxx-air vent mounted over an existing ceiling vent in the kitchen area, it's got the 12 inch fan that is mounted outside above the roof, very quiet and reversable, nice thing about it is that you can use it in the rain or going down the road cause of the shroud on it and you can still open and close the vent as needed.
