I would like a reference on where to look for new or lightly used retractable lap belts for my MC 96a3.
They should have a center release button and 10 to 12 inch stiff 'sleeves' on each side coming up from the floor.
Took quite a ribbing at the recent rally for thinking the driver didn't need a set. My Flexsteel driver's seat didn't come so equipped.
Thanks iin advance.

Mike,

I found some for my Jeep awhile back on Ebay.

They were new takeout from conversion vans.

About 1/3 of new and were new.

Maybe harder to find now that the conversion market is slow........

Mike I also found ones that worked out pretty well for our coach on Ebay. I was looking for a certain color to go with everything else we have and teal green was a hard one to find but they were there! 20 bucks for two if I remember right!

What type of seat belts are required for passenger seating in a conversion.   Are two point belts acceptable or do they have to be 3 point. I would assume that anchoring them to the original floor and/or side wall rails would be acceptable.

We purchased our seat belts at The Surplus Center www.surpluscenter.com  Because it is a surplus store, there inventory constantly changes, you have to check their website.  Jack
