VDO Speedometer

I have the large VDO Speedometer in my Eagle 10. My question is if I go to the smaller 3 3/8" or 4" VDO speedometer will I have to change the sending unit?

JC, it should work fine if the head has dip switches on the back for different pickups and settings you never know about VDO did you check with the guys at e gauge
