Unfortunately not me. We have talked about doing a race via the infield and our closest opportunity would be Kansas.  $950 for the weekend and a waiting list that requires $25 to even get on. Are you doing the infield? Curious as to what other tracks offer.

I am baggage in my brother's pick-up truck to Richmond for both races.

Hotel living someplace.

600 miles one way, 8 guys, 2 pick-ups, 2 grills, a square canopy, numerous coolers, chairs, and tailgating out in the fields.

We continue to be afraid of what condition we may end up in if we don't have to pack up after each race a drive someplace....

One of these years, we'll just have to risk it and the coach will have to do NASCAR.

happy coaching!

They don't offer in feild camping at Richmond, We are in one of the lots out side. We never been to one in the bus so this is new to us. It was $80.00 for a 2 day park pass with no hookups just a space. I would also like to do a infeild camping someday. Jason

At Kansas Speedway they have camping outside the track also. I have one customer that used to take his s&s and stay at a closeby horse racing track that offered free shuttles back and forth. That looks to be more feasible!!

Infield camping is usually limited to tracks that are at least 1.5 miles. Smaller tracks do not have enough room for the garages, haulers AND RVs.  If you camp in the infield, there will be all night parties near you. This can be good or bad, depending on your interest & lifestyle.  Also at most tracks that have infiekd camping,  you will only see a small portion of the track from the infield. However, it is a great PARTY!!!   Jack

Actually, Scott, that would probably be the Woodlands Dog track...

No problem, Scott. I figured it would aid your search a bit, to know the right name of the place. Nice thing about the Woodlands is, the parking is paved (most of it anyways). At the track most of the parking is grass, and if it rains....lol LOL ;D. It

Someday I'll get in the infield for a race but if it's going to cost a bunch I'm not spending it in Kansas. I've been to Daytona for the race and I'm sure that getting in the infield is not cheap if even available. I'm just curious trying to find out if anyone else has been and the what fors.
