Clifford asked me to post these pictures showing how someone had used a zip tie in place of the required clamp on his blower. I'll let him finish the story.

Just to be clear guys that is not my blower but another guys and that is a new blower why people do these things and bad mouth a DD for leaking one will never know

Speaking of clamps! I just today learned a little tid bit about how to get these type clamps tight. After tightening what I thought was really tight, my friend, (who owns a bus shop) came over and told me to get a hammer. I did and told me to tap on the clamp and tighten it some more. I did what he said and he said, do it again. I repeated this same tap and tighten about 4-5 times and I think I must have tightened, what I thought was already pretty tight, about 6 more full turns of the clamp nut! He said this helps to "seat" the clamp. I'm a believer now! When I get it home I will check the torque with my torque wrench but goes to show you that tight ain't tight as you might think!
