As noted, in addition to voting, please post the date and zip code in this thread.  I will analyze the results and give it to the USPS to address some of the extended delivery times some are experiencing.

If you haven't received it yet (and you have a subscription  ;) ), please also post in http://www.busconversions.com/bbs/index.php?topic=15518.0

Sorry to make it two threads, but it will help with analyzing the results and also speed mailing of replacement copies where needed.

We got ours somewhere around the third week in March. Not sure of the exact date as I can't even remember when our anniversary is! ;D

I never received the first March issue, another one was sent first class which came on 4/8/10. I think someone in the postal system steals them. I had the same problem when it came from California with the original BCM. One month fine another month no issue. It has been better but not perfect.

Steve, I'm glad you got your replacement one quickly.  I'm not so sure it is theft, but rather carelessness on the part of some Postal employee in your delivery chain.  I have come to that conclusion on several because the delivery problems are typically repetitive for the same people while reliable for others.

We have greatly reduced the monthly delivery problems by refining the addresses to where the entire subscription list is now 100% matched with the USPS address data. And the envelopes have helped I believe.

Back when I was researching Standard Class mailing via Google to learn all about it, I even came across some site where some Postal employees were comiserating with each other about their work gripes.  One point they dwelled on (and what pulled it into the search results) was their disregard for bulk mail (Standard Class) and a contempt for businesses that were "too cheap" to just use First Class.

They talked about how the volume of bulk mail made their job more difficult (never mind the fact that it without it, chances are they wouldn't have that job).  One made the statement that if the business sending it didn't think it important enough to send it First Class, it wasn't very important to him how accurately it got delivered.  I guess that view made the others nervous because that seemed to throw a wet blanket on that topic and they moved on to other things.

Given the size of the USPS, it is understandable that there probably are a few employees that have a bad attitude about it and have some degree of low regard for the accuracy of delivery on Standard Class.  So that is my theory on why it happens to the same people periodically and not to most.

Well this stinks as my first post but since you asked. I have not received mine to Aiken, SC 29803.

I have gotten interested in this "hobby" in the last few months and have been lurking on the site. I started a subscription in Dec and this is the second time it has skipped a month (Jan was not received until I called and then I got Feb and Jan in the mailing).

You can PM me for more information if needed.
