The most important thing to check, before moving in the dark, is the filament fluid. Always check it. The cap for it, is right back there, next to the muffler bearing (that needs to be checked every 4000 miles), under that thingamajigle, and behind the whatchamacallit.

Filimant fluid?  Is that like blinker fluid?  I once ran out of blinker fluid and my turn signals stopped working.
