I have been looking for a 4104 or 4106 for a while and I got a line on one that had been down at the Arcadia rally a couple weeks back. I guess there were actually two 4106's for sale. Anyway, one of them is down in Spring Hill, FL (kind of cream colored paint the guy said?) and I was wondering if anyone had any familiarity with that bus or lives anywhere near there. I am a bus newbie and want to know if this bus is worth driving down to take a look at (a 2-day round trip from here in NC). It seems to be priced right but who knows what lurks "under the hood". I would appreciate any help/tips/information on dealing with this bus.

Yes, I know the cream colored bus and the owner. The bus is a 4106 and the owner drove for Greyhound for many years before retiring.  I think Bob kinda lost interest in traveling in the bus after his wife passed away. Bob lives in Polk City, Fl and the bus is at Dick Wolfert's in Spring Hill.
I also know of a real nice 4104 that is for sale near Cleveland, SC. Sarah Gillis is selling their coach.  Her husband passed away and Sarah does feel comfortable driving the coach.
The 4106 that was for sale at our rally may belong to a busnut that lives near Mount Holly, NC, but I am not sure. Drop me a PM if you want contact information on any of these.  Jack
