The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you.
Its the last thing but its still on the list.

A couple more eye candy shots.  There's some really pretty frenchy-busses on the back row.  But I might be prejudiced.

Truly wonderful pix. All of them. I thank you. If at all possible we'll try to get there next year. If they still allow old farts with old buses...Cable

I can pretty well guarantee you won't be the oldest one here - bus or human.

What? no photos of the Silversides or the two 5A's ? ;D
Used to own a 1968 MCI 5A and a 1977 5C.

I'm happy to see a Crown in the last photo, still unapologetically resplendant in its true colors.   With its sloping window pillar covers, I wonder if it's one of the rare Embree buses, or maybe one of Bremerton's equally-rare pushers.   Either way, who cares, it's still a bus in the best sense of the word  -  simple, tough, unpretentious, ready and able to reliably work for many decades.

One day I hope to join the assembled glitterati at Quartzsite with my bus, and until then I hope other Crowns and Gilligs fly the flag for us folk.   Go yellow!

John, proud to own another rare Crown

These won't be any help to Van cuz he's already here but they show the morning after the big storm for anybody who isn't here.  Rice Ranch staff was right on top of this first thing this morning - clearly they had done it before.

Down the road from Larry's bus there was a couple of vehicles got undermined but the river never made it back to the busses.

Breakfast this morning required parkas.  I think if you look real close you can see Sonny Gray and Jim Shepherd discussing the merits of electronic vs. mechanical engine installations.

John, that is one of the Embree buses and he is going to keep it as a seated bus. It is in very nice shape and he is going to restore it.

The guy has another Crown here at my place and the Eagle is keeping a close eye from the nest trying to figure out what it is.

Watch out Clifford, you might have some little "Croagle's" or "Eagown's" running around when you get back! ::)

What is the parking routine there? I see everyone nicely lined up, and then one bus sideways, taking up about 6 spaces? Is there a rhyme to that reason?
