Finally after several weeks I got my entrance door unstuck.  It was 35 degrees out today.

There isn't any way I could have melted all of the ice with my heat gun.  The ice along the bottom of the door was 1/2" thick.  The door isn't fitting in the opening properly so water leaks in.  I have a nicer door to replace the current one.

Next project is to try the heater again to see if it sets off the CO detector again.  All the oils and such should be burned off now.

Brian,

Just a tip. Next time when you need to use the door, don't run mr buddy. lol, sorry, Brian, I tried not to. I really did, but I couldn't help myself.

That is good that you got your door open. That kind of stuff can be such a pain! BTDT I am sure that you are thankful you got it open, because it might not have warmed up for the longest time. At least you are open, and able to get to work.

God bless,

John

So, what are you going to work on? Ken got a lot done on the bus.The ceiling turned out awesome.  Finishing up the plumbing and elec. and it will be usable. I have been sick with the flu ever since Ken left. Havent even left the house. I think I am slowly recovering. Anyhow, stay warm. Ruthi

I want to test my Silverleaf VMSpc to see how it works.  I also plan to take apart the dash to see about building a new one.  Everything will be carefully labeled.

I am going out in a few minutes to start the heater so I can work out there this afternoon.
