We've been offline for a few days but I wondered what the bright light in the eastern sky was last night.  Hope you got the fire out without too much damage.

Congratulations buddy - hope you have many more to celebrate until you have to put one candle for every 10 years on the cake.

The picture is the aftermath of Marilyn's auntie-Anne's 100th birthday cake.  The hotel (foolishly as it turned out) put 100 candles on the cake.  When they lit them they must have all vaporized more or less simultaneously which turned the cake into a mini-bomb.  That set off the hotel fire alarm but fortunately didn't trigger the sprinkler system.  It could have been better if it had happened about 5 minutes earlier while Anne's brother-in-law was still mired in one of his interminable prayers but it was still pretty good entertainment.
