Try this company. I bought a product from them for the floor in my eagle. 4' x 25' 1/8 thick was about $ 130.00. The same in lead was going to be over $900.00. The sound properties are as good as lead. I put one layer between foam in the floor pans, and one layer between the frame and floor.I was amazed at the sound reduction. I am putting it in my generator surround now.

I guess my question is this, why would you need all of the sound proofing in the first place?  Seems to me that you drive it from the front, is there that much noise back there that sound proofing is needed?  Normally parked the engine is not running therefore no noise.

For me personally, I have 8 bunks in the rear where folks sleep while going down the road.  I find it hard to sleep while on the road with the combination of the engine noise and the little bit of bouncing the bus does while moving.

The engine is so noisy I don't know how any charter company could get a repeat customer if it was that bad when it was a charter bus.

You lost a lot of the sound proofing when you stripped you bathroom and rear wall areas!

Also seating and other stock interior items help to "deaden sound in multiple ways! Just the plain mass, the cloth & cusions of the seats, the carpeted walls, all the trim pieces. & etc not to mention the way all this is held in is part of keeping vibrations down which keeps sound levels down! (sound is vibrations! ;D)

BK, I would assume that would be the case in all conversions. For us, the same is true about sleeping when in motion. We sometimes have to travel most of the night to get to locations, and some of us, mostly me, cant stay awake. I guess you take out, and then you have got to put back, and get it as quiet as possible. ;D
