Help A/C works, stops then works... I'm on road

I have 1993 MCI 102 C3 with Cat engine. Bus A/C works fine but every once in a while. the digital temp control on dash flashes and the A/C blows hot to 85 degrees, then starts cooling down again?? I'm on the road with 1500 more miles to go. A friend posted this note for me so the only way to contact  me is with a call. Any ideas for a quick road fix would be well recieved

Sounds like your short cycleing.  Maybe on hi preassure switch!

Check the condencer for clogged fins or, your cond fan may have tripped the breaker

Spoke with Tom, Next stop he makes he will make some observations to help me determine which cut out is stopping the A/C.
