Any suggestions to cut glare for driver side mirror?

I get terrible glare that makes it very difficult to see anything in my driver's side mirror when I back into my driveway.  The glare is coming from the driver's window.  I used to have a window that opened from the front so I just opened the window when I was backing into my driveway.  I replaced the window and now it only slides open from the back.  The mirror is fine when out on the road.

Any ideas to reduce the glare?  Right now I have been sticking my head out, but the mirror works better.

My driveway is only 10 feet wide with some trees at the edge of the driveway and a porch that extends a foot over the driveway so mirrors are super important.

 Brian,
I have no solution, but when the sun light is shining in to the building I keep the bus, the reflection (or images) off the front windshield, renders the drivers side mirror useless.

I would not be stinking my head out with that tight of clearances. I hate to see horse trailers with open side windows running down streets with close road signs. No analogies intended...

From where are these reflections coming from?

Would a suitable sized piece of cardboard stock tucked into the corner of the windshield and sticking edge on straight out at your face block off the cross compartment reflections?

Keep it tucked down beside the seat when not in use.

Hiya brian,I had that problem when driving big truck, solution for me was static cling tint and trimmed down to a reasonable size to block the glare from the mirror. I bought mine at the old union 76 truck stop back in new Joyzee ,don't have any links to give you but it is still available at some auto shops and rv suppliers like Campers world.good luck

Also if it is the sun glare that application words well. If it is interior glare ,darkening the drivers station by use of roll down shades on the interior of the offending areas such as wind shield and drivers, entrance door windows here is a shot of my shades

also I think LUVRBUS might have a link for the supplier of these as mine came with our Eagle, once again good luck.

Brian, my Ramco mirrors have a non glare mirror glass in the head, headlights or sunlight don't glare that may be a option for you to change the mirror glass or check with a tint shop they may have a tint that will work.

good luck

The glare is on the glass on the inside I believe, not the mirror itself.  The light is coming through both the door glass and the windshield.

I'll try my polarized sunglasses next time I drive the bus.
