Wow I sure stirred the fire when we took our flexsteel out. The biggest reason was we wanted a Queen bed and had wasted space on the ends. The bed sits lengthwise not across the bus.so opens up more floor space...Another place to check is the marine industry under marine furniture. They do high end furniture for big boats and their business is tough now!

Thanks a lot guys.

First off, Ruthi that is a very kind offer. I think that we will pass because of the distance. Bob, that was also very nice of you. Thanks, and have at it. I hope it works out well for you.

Nick thanks for the info that helps a lot and makes great sense.

God bless.

Ruthi,

Didn't receive your pm. Perhaps you sent it to "Marc" instead of me.

i just bought a set for my house that i'm going to use in my bus... it's called "click clack"(Homeline furniture) & it is a 3 pc sectional that folds into a bed & each piece has storage chests by lifting the cushions.
i think i got it new for $900. or less. i'l modify it like everything else for the bus...

Storage is so critical in a bus what many do is build as base for the couch and with a sliding top that folds into a bed, the base can contain drawers. I built several of them over the years for different people and they not only work well but hold up well, couchions can be made or bought reasonably, and designed to fit the allowable space perfectly.

John, I have Villa in my coach and a friend has the discount van furniture in his and his is holding up as good as my Villa for about 1/2 the price.
I like my Villa but I don't think it is that much better for the price but I am not a fan of the FlexSteel furniture.

good luck

Just got back from picking up the couch from Ruthi and her husband Ken. Nice folks, even if they are converting a Dina ;D

Also got to met Brian(Belfert, another Dina nut), who was in Atlanta visiting some friends and made the trip down to Milledgeville to check out their Dina project.

All and all, a good Busnut day.

Ruthi and Ken, thanks for the good deal on the couch. It's going to work well in my old bus.

Actually, I went to Atlanta specifically to see the Dina.  I visited with some friends since I was in Atlanta and they live there now.
