I stopped by the old Monaco Coach Service Center in Wildwood yesterday and met the new owners. It's nice to know that I was their very first customer. Allen is the big Kahuna and from what I understand it's a combined ownership with Navastar division of International.

Now some may feel that this is not Bus related but considering that they have 40 service bays and the ability to lift our buses for service it might be worth the mention.

NCbob,

Where in Wildwood is the service facility. While it is a couple of hours north of me, I would really like to find another option other than MCI in Orlando.

Thank,

Paul

Niles, It was my goof. It's Monaco....the old Monaco Service facility. I guess it's a little late to change the heading and correct the post but perhaps one of our esteemed Moderators will read this and help me out here.

Call it a Senior Moment.

It's on Route 44 East of US 301 Behind the Sparr Farm and building Supply.

You can change the post heading anytime, as long as you created it, there is no time limit that I know of.

No, I don't know their labor rate..but I'll make it a point to stop by and get their phone number and other pertinent info.

And THANKS to Jack Conrad for straightening out the mess I made to this thread.

Just an aside, The navistar rep who took over Monoco sales at Southern R.V. in Tyler stopped by and asked if we could do waranty on the Kubota gensets. We sell Kubota tractors and industrial engines. I agreed. Some of you who have Kubota gensets might remember this if you need repairs. Kubota tractor dealers have access to parts and repair on the engine portion.

Is there that much demand for 42 service bays at one facility in Florida?  I'm not sure you could hardly find a total of 42 RV service bays in the Minneapolis area between all the dealers.

I suppose there are a lot of RVs owned by snowbirds that need service
