Gumpydog.com may be going away...

I just got a note from my website server administrator saying I'll soon be losing my server space due to changes in his organization. I can't complain. He's let me park
my website there for several years and has been ultra helpful getting it to where it is. However, it's time to move on.

I'm going to try to get something working on my home DSL line if I can get the time to play with it, but there's a real good chance that Gumpydog.com may be
going away in the near future. I'll keep you all posted.

Bummer. That is too bad.

You might check with Dallas. Last I knew he had some server space, but I don't know anything else about it.

God bless,

John

You can have some room on my server if you want, or alternatively there are plenty of people offering free hosting packages - you may well already have some free space as part of your ISP account.

I wouldn't try to set up your own server from home - while it's technically possible it's not really satisfactory for a number of reasons

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

That is bad news, I use your site more than any for how-to procedures. It has been a HUGE aid in my progress. So thank-you so much for taking all the time and effort. Maybe you should produce a book!?

Any chance that entire sire can be loaded onto a DVD disc?  Your info is priceless and I have visited many times.  I would purchase a DVD......Please

He could tie into a "BCM Centerfold's disk" and sell millions. "Honey, can we watch Bus Porn tonight? I'd like to see some silicone in the RIGHT places instead of the usual blah..."

Craig,

Your site is one of the most informational, on bus conversions.    Many people value it, so, I hope you can take advantage of one of the offers here.

I personally refuse to accept this news!!! :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

We must find server space or several bus conversions will come to stop and remain in limbo for years!!!!

No way! I am calling someone to get this on the G-20 agenda.

We must protect this valuable treasure at all cost.

I am in for the DVD!

How about BCM taking the info and using it for articles?  Spin them a disc, and get the stuff into print!

Because Craig's site is so valuable to the bus nut community and out of respect for the immense effort he has always put into helping bus nuts, we are willing to host his site from our server if he would like.
