It rained all day Friday, and was threatening rain most of Saturday, so the skinning of my bus was pushed to this evening.

The first picture is the bus with prep work completed, waiting for my crew to arrive.

The second picture is my crew "helping" me get ready to install the skin.

Paul I used a 3M VHB tape that is used for installing trailer panels. I was originally going to use sikaflex, but I found out about the tape from a posting here. As soon as the panel touches it's stuck, which I prefer to waiting for it to sag while sika cures.

Hi Paul,

I didn't catch what material you used for the skinning. If aluminum, I would add sika from the inside and fill each gap to

prevent movement from hot/cold days. If fiberglass, I would all bracing in the large spots to prevent ripples.

Looks awsome!

Paul,

Alright you leave me no choice in the matter. As soon as this traffic jam of a golf tournament leaves town I'm coming down to admire your handiwork!!!

Great job and that coach you're skinning looks pretty awesome as well.

Be well and be safe,

rick
