I would like to hear from as many people as possible on their methods for securing furniture inside their bus. We are using regular household furniture for the sofa/bed. The leather sofa has the standard oak frame underneath and will be placed on a six inch riser allowing from some storage underneath.

I have already ordered the Austin Hardware catalog and should get some cool ideas from their as well.

Your thoughts and ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Grant,
I use pieces of 2"X2"x1/8" aluminum angle. Screw to floor and screw to furniture. Jusy our way, YMMV.  Jack

For furniture that has a tubular base, strapping like what would secure conduit can be found in many factory units, one change I would make tho, would be to secure it thru the floor with bolts and a backing plate instead of just the self tapping screws that one new rig I looked at had.  I'm sure the government has some sort of requirement for this but I have no idea what it would be.  The possiblity of creating a 'mother-in-law' launcher is interesting tho.
